James and the Treja Global Supply team are always keen and willing to help.
We are regularly placed in an urgent, shutdown and emergency maintenance situations where time is definitely money.
In addition to the many, unplanned and un-forecasted urgent requests we handle on a regular basis, we need to ensure that safety of people and products remain front of mind – we simply can’t cut corners and need to trust our key suppliers.
As recently as this morning, we needed some weld mesh for an urgent job, which was definitely unforeseen, James sprang into action, we requested the gear early doors and the order was able to be delivered before lunch.
We use Treja to source all manner of different requirements and they can be trusted to help us at a moment’s notice which certainly takes a load off my mind.
In all the dealings we have had with James and the team we have never been let down – hence not letting our client down. Our company has been in business for over 20 years and have had a number of suppliers and due to the services of James and the team we now only use 1 supplier – “Treja Global Supply, they are all we need”.
Mr X from a large mining house in West Africa is pleased to confirm that Treja can be relied upon to supply all manner of items, whether run of the mill, or out of the ordinary.
Whilst not disclosing how many body bags were required, and the reason for them, he was happy to acknowledge that Treja ticked the box on this most unusual of requests.
Body bags, or spare parts, Treja “always delivers for me”.
This was explicitly requested by an African mine site as a precaution during the start of the pandemic – his traditional suppliers of nuts and bolts were unwilling, unable to help – or both.
In this instance, it was vital for the mine to have all the right protocols and procedures in place – in case the worst happened on site. The worst being unthinkable.
Coupled with the health reasons for the request, there is also the commercial side of things. If a mine is forced to stop working, the economic impacts are felt far and wide and exacerbate the results. It was important for the customer to consider both, health and commercial aspects for numerous reasons and multiple benefits.
Within a short space of time, Treja was able to do some homework on relevant standards and ensure the correct type and quality of body bags were available.
No matter what, everybody deserves and has a right to be happy.
In remote locations, there are negative effects of isolation, boredom, mental health challenges and loneliness to contend with – additional to the requirements for technical and safety competency – ticking the box in the right areas has a flow on effect on worker happens and ultimately, safe and increased production.
A remote, international customer was asking Treja for help in making workers feel a little more loved, cared for and an improvement in their well-being and morale. We know that the little things count.
We decided on a taste of home would be a small thing that would go a long way. Especially considering Covid has led to longer rosters and more time away from families. What better way to conjure up happy memories than through our stomachs?
Everybody (well, most bodies) prefer a bit of spice now and again – and fond memories that great meals can evoke.
Treja quickly identified a reliable source of Nasi Goreng (that would travel well to remote international locations) and sourced, packed suitable for export and shipped off / delivered a tonne of spicy happiness.
Happy Workers = Happy Mine (and likely more production and commercial benefits for the wider community).
